Before your first exam

On Android, open the downloaded APK and allow installation from your browser when Android asks. On student phones, allow quiet-mode access and confirm Android’s pinning prompt. Keep the examiner app open and its screen awake; background push alerts are not included in this release.

This is an online pilot release. Verify it on your devices before using it in an assessed exam. Personal phones can exit screen pinning. Alerts report interruptions, not proof of cheating. Both apps require internet access; a reported sleeping phone’s connection cannot be verified until it wakes.
